Abstract: The speaker will present ongoing efforts to develop a new class of very high-order method for compressible hydrodynamics for magnetized fluids in astrophysics. We have adapted the popular Spectral Difference method to modern techniques allowing very high-order time integration (ADER scheme) and a posteriori limiting. A particularly important property of the magnetic field, namely its zero divergence, has to be preserved to ensure high quality solution. Some test results will be shown and discussed.
